I started a new character and got past the first mini boss on my first try! I actually deflected!
The Let's Play is by PlayFrame, which is a very lovely YouTube channel. Dan is a really lovely person. He isn't known for being very good at games though. Instead he is a much more average player who works in the game industry and has smart things to say about games while he plays.
He is also doing SIGNIFICANTLY better at the game then I was on my first try. That doesn't fill me with confidence.
This seems to be how I react to every From game. I try, fail, try, fail, get frustrated, quit and then repeat. So far that cycle had eventually resulted in success for every game except this one
So, I bought Sekiro immediately after it was released, and played it heavily for a few days. Then I got to a boss that just kicked my ass repeatedly and I gave up.
I finally decided that I'm not going to try again, so it is okay to watch a Let's Play of it. I have so far seen about half of the part I had already played, so nothing has been spoiled.
The problem is that now I kinda want to try again! Ugh. This is a problem.
Sleep is going to be impossible...
My gf works at a skilled nursing facility that has had an illness scare and is limiting visits and what not. It is probably just people being paranoid about COVID-19, but also, ugh.
I code for a living and a hobby. If you believe something is sacred you should be warned that I don't.
