I keep breaking things in tusky and elsewhere and sometimes I just want to curl up and not touch anything

@charlag just a few days ago i was carefully tiptoeing around code and ux of a cryptocurrency wallet so that's somewhat relatable

@charlag You're not alone!

Sometimes this is just a bad day(/week/…), but in my experience it's often also a symptom of an overcomplicated and/or undertested codebase. Tusky for sure needs more tests (and I'm complicit in this as well), although testing on android is 😭 :thisisfine:

I used to contribute occasionally and sporadically to Mercurial, kind of the way I do with Tusky. At one point, we determined that, despite adding tests and getting thorough code review from senior project members, I actually added more than one significant bug per contribution. That's uhhh … quite a feeling to have.

In summary, sometimes it do be like that, I think you're doing a great job, try not to let it get you down. 🙂
